Plant Growth 4: The Conclusion

As I come to a close to my experiment, I have noticed that my plant watered with Kool-Aid has died. I think it was the problem with the Kool-Aid being hypertonic. The one I used water on has had an excellent growth rate. Now I KNOW it is sprouting. I also believe that the one with Gatorade is dying because the fungus is overpowering the plant. My hypothesis was correct in the end. Okay, Bye!

Plant Growth 3: The Experiment (cont.)

After a week, I noticed that the plants watered with Gatorade and Kool-Aid are growing fungi, sort of a deep gray color. The one with water seems to be doing fine, and I think I see it sprouting.

Plant Growth 2: The Experiment

After 3 days, my hypothesis was still correct. The one watered with Kool-Aid most likely won't even sprout, because the Kool-Aid is hypertonic, which means it is too full of sugar or salt. I believe that Kool-Aid is hypertonic because Kool-Aid is full of sugar. The Gatorade is probably hypertonic, too.

Plant Growth: Beginning,The Hypothesis

How does certain liquids effect plant growth?

Well, I'll tell you how. I watered 3 sunflower seeds. One with water, one with Kool-Aid, and one with Gatorade. My hypothesis is that the one with water will grow, but the others will die.
